About the Artist
Artist Statement

My paintings explore our changing environment. Finding inspiration from both the natural and artificial environments, I focus on the observation of fleeting color and light patterns in both my landscapes and abstract paintings. It is through these observations that I also reflect on our changing environment due to weather, time, or human interaction. The goal is to share and preserve the beauty of nature, creating a forum for the viewer to question their relationship with the natural world and the environmental footprint they leave behind.
My education includes a BFA in Drawing from The University of Florida, a BA in Art Education from Kennesaw State University, and an MFA in Painting from Georgia Southern University. Currently, I am displaying my work in the Atlanta area. Showing history includes regional, national, and international venues. I am planning future workshops, please sign up for updates and new work.
